sensors +balloons

some thoughts on what else balloons could sense.

movement-
pressure-
heat-
noise/sound-

If Ollie responds to motion by waving his wings more when sensing motion what would happen to my balloons/leds in L.E.D Zepplin if the surface of the balloon gets stroked/punched/drummed/blown on?

could the play in this create a feedback loop between balloons and player?
does the skin of the balloon offer a surface that is analogous to the players own skin? can the sensors sense 'pain' or hurt? what if some sensors fail- can the balloon go 'ouch'?

does this responsiveness create a sense of empathy between player and balloon?
how does the temporal affect the interaction?
how does the balloon affect the perception of space?
how does the balloon affect the perception of play?

words like visceral,temporal,tactile affect
