High Altitude Balloons
Aerostar’s High Altitude Balloons have been used for over 70 years for near space exploration. Flying at altitudes in excess of 100,000 ft above the surface of the earth for days on end, scientists and other explorers are able to perform missions not possible below the troposphere.
The material used to construct our modern high altitude balloons, also known as zero pressure balloons, consists of plastic films with various laminates. The frail looking material is actually extremely robust and durable.
